Hey Guys,

just wanted your input/comments/opinions/pros/cons of this case. I started w/ Antec Sonata which is a nice moderate case. I then purchased a coolermaster praetorian black aluminum which i have currently. I feel its a nice case, but i prefer 120mm fans as opposed to 4 80mm fans, and hard drive trays to be facing horizontally. Nice case overall. Been looking at the Lian Li case for a bit and found it to be what my case preferences have evolved to. It is a bit pricey, but i get what i pay for. (at least to me). I love the drilled holes all trhoughout the case for good ventilation, the dual 120mm fans, the wheels w/ brake locks, the simplicity of the way it looks and also the black aluminum w/ side window. Pretty much the positioning of everything is perfect. Only thing i was concerned about was fitment of my power supply. (i've heard of fitment issues w/ certain psus). I have currently an antec neopower 480 psu. so hopefully someone could clear that one up for me. But other than that, i'm pretty much sold. Just wanted to get feedback from current owners, to reflect something i may have missed or to confirm my findings. Thanks guys.

Going SLI should pose no problem. XP 120 however, would probably depend upon your motherboard spacing. I can fit thermalright xp90 (what i currently have), w/ my asus a8n SLI deluxe motherboard.

I have an XP 120 on my A8N-sli, in the V1100 case. Your antec psu should fit fine.

oh good; thanx a lot runestone! I figured it will, but wasn't sure from what i've read about the case. Every review i've read about the case pretty much praises the case. And it is afterall, a Lian LI.

Just wanted to point out the following:

- Lian Li V series cases have one fan cooling the entire main compartment

- SLI rigs pump out lots of video card heat

Draw your own conclusion.

I have the V1200B...just got it actually. I have the OCZ ModStream and was initially a little worried about the leads not reaching but for the most part, they reach just fine. I have the XP-90 and it fits perfect. As far as the one case fan, I doubt very much it will be a huge problem. This case disapates heat so well, my case temps stay well under 30 C, usually around 26 C. That's using the one 120MM adda fan they supply you for the main area. I am thinking about getting a Panaflo to replace the two fans they give you but I haven't figured out if it'll be worth it yet. BTW, my CPU is an Athlon64 3500+ 90nm with an XP-90/Vantec Stealth fan and it doesn't really go above 40 C (usually between 35C & 38C). I am sure you'll be fine. I would definately go for the V1200 though since it has a deeper area for the power supply. My power supply fits just fine but it's still tight. Best case I've ever owned and this is coming from a lifelong antec fan.

D, I do remember reading a post here somewhere about the 1000 series case and the XP120 not quite fitting-needed some dremel work. Might be worth a search for info. The xp is huge, but fits in my case.
I have the fan (Papst 120) blowing out from the heatsink, dropped cpu temps a few degrees that way.

Hey Nessism,

thanks for the input, but yeah i doubt ill have problems w/ cooling my dual Ultras in SLI mode. This case is officially the Koolance 725bk, basically a Lian Li v100b w/ the exos 2 custom installed onto it, so all my components from here on out will be water cooled.
