Sorry wrong,most faulty mice threads here in AT forums are members using Microsoft mice, my friends have both Microsoft and Logitech mice and the Logitech mice are still working where`s I`ve two friends that had to get new replacements for their Microsoft mice that died.We could argue this all night .

Phycology comes into play here..

The people who bought a MS mouse can not be shamed becuase they made a commitment to part with their hard erned cash for an MS mouse.. so it is only in human nature to try with all their might and power to back up their beliefs... Believing in something is a VERY powerful thing.. believe enough in something and it will happen..

Just a few things I learned..

I personall have er.. Logitech everywhere..

2 X Logitech Mouseman Wheel Cordless
1 X Logitech Mouseman Wheel Optical (Blue one with light up logo)
1 X Logitech iTouch Cordless Keyboard
1 X Logitech iTouch Corded

And thats about it so far..

I personally hate Logitech's mice. Not because they don't work, but because of the feel.
I like the scrolling wheels, and the way the buttons click on MS mice much better.

MS Intellimouse Explorer is great, and there is a new version out, supposedly it refreshes like 4 times more than the old one and its cooler looking.

If you're looking for a new mouse, i'd get the explorer

I have 4 pc's at home, and one pc here in college. every single one of them has a logitech pointing device (with the only exception being one gateway mouse from the gateway server deal a while back). I will never willingly fork over money to microsoft for any purpose. and it helps that logitech devices kick arse.

from what I have seen, most oem mice are logitech as well

I love my microsoft optical.......its the lower line model, but for $25 its perfect....if you have the money go with the top of the line.....otherwise get a practical one

The Logitech optical wheel is perfect. The cordless is very good, but I like the corded optical for games. R

I've just gone back to a Logitech cordless optical mouse.
I'll never buy MS mice again: The Explorer model must be cheaply made--I've gone through two.
And don't EVEN think about their new Wireless Optical. Just Junk.
