OS X Book

Question : I am a new Apple user and I was wondering if anyone knows any good books on OS X Panther Edition ? I have been using Windows for years and I have an XP Pro book that is pretty good. I want one that will be easy in the beginning but a year from now will still offer me tips and info. It would help if it would include the basics of Unix, so I could branch out. Thanks

I'm also a new mac user so here goes... I purchased "How to Do Everything with Mac OS X Panther" by Kirk McElhearn. While it's a great book, I found that I really didn't need any help figuring out the OS. Everything that takes 20 min to configure in windows is done instantly in OSX. On the program side everything is pretty much the same except the menu is at the top of the screan instead of on the window... I've heard that "OSX the missing manual" is also supposed to be a good book... and there are plenty of books on OSX at the apple main page. I would check out www.macnn.com and go to their forums. You'll get plenty of help there...

Most good book stores have some Unix and OS X books in their computer section. Like Borders or whatever big store is in your area. I've heard goog things about the "missing manual" series of books.
