OT: CA Frys ads?

From what I can tell, the LA ads correlate pretty well to the stores in the bay area.

I wouldn't guarantee a perfect correlation, but of the dozen or so things I remember seeing in an LA ad and then seeing at a fry's up here, it's always been the same price.

You can try the SF Chronicle online or even the Mercury News but you might have to pay a subsrciption fee for that. What the others told you about looking at the LA area Fry's ads is a good suggestion . I frequent the Campbell and/or the Brokaw Road store and the LA adds that are posted here pretty much stay in line with those stores. In fact they are frequently almost exact. I would take if further and say that if there is a "special deal" on a HD, CDRW, etc, you can count on those being there. The only discrepancy I have found occasionally is the "bundled deals (MB/CPU combos).
If all else fails though, you could spend 35 cents (or is it 50 cents now?) and get the paper for yourself.

Actually the Mercury News has come back down to a quarter and sundays back to an even dollar. Anyway, there have been two sites that featured Bay Area Fry's ads, they were both taken down within a couple of months. No idea how the LA Frys ad sites stay up. Problem with getting the paper isn't cost, it's time and effort. Too lazy to drive 5 minutes for the paper.
