OT: Short Story (w/ pictures!)

Yesterday the Big Boss in my company turned his laptop over to me remarking that it has been crashing intermittently for some time now. Further he commented that it almost seems like a short or something. Anyhow, he needs it Monday for a business trip.

So, now it's Saturday morning. I had X pour me a nice cup of hot chocolate (<---irc thing) and sat down to tear into it. Making sure to be careful of course! Low and behold I found something! It was just rolling around free inside and my exhaustive inspection of the chassis did not reveal any home for it. Must have been there since fabrication. (I'm waiting for DanC to point out that COMPAQ has a better QA process.) Anyway, it's time to clean up this mess. I hope that was the culprit.

Oh, and i was nice and not only shrunk these a bunch, but even turned up the compression for all you slow-butt dialups
