OUTLOOK 2007

Is it just me or do you also have issues everytime you start up OUTLOOK 2007 ? Mine consistently starts with a notification saying that my data file was not closed properly and i have to wait 3 minutes everytime!

Any assistance? Is there a certain way to shutdown OUTLOOK??

If you post a problem, and then fix it, please post the solution in your follow-up, and not just a "Got it fixed kkthx bye!" It will save some poor future bastard from the frustration of clicking through a search on a tease only to find that you never followed up with the solution.

Fwiw, that message in Outlook indicates that it didn't get a chance to finish with the .PST file when it was shut down. Usually it causes no harm, but it does indicate something unusual. I only see it when I have to restart without shutting Outlook down normally.

Hey guys

i have another problem with my outlook 07...i also searches through my email with the outlook tool lookout!
Now i have a new computer and a new sytem, windows vista an outlook 07 and lookout doesnt work anymore...i am very desperate because i liked it very much!
Now i am on a search for a another search tool for outlook, which is similar to lookout!!
Has anybody a good idea??

Just an FYI for others, do not kill Outlook 07's process, it will cause problems. It verify's you pst as it closes and it takes longer than 03. I've ran into this alot with people just killing it manually, then having to recreate their profile and pst.

I had the same thing happening and my solution was to disable indexing of the pst file.

Have you found a different solution?
