Outlook XP backup?

how do you backup your information from outlook XP?
like emails, contacts, calendar and whatnot. I would like to use this nice program but i don't know how to backup all my information if i need to reformat my HD and such.

Buy a Palm or Handspring and sync it to Outlook. Now you have a backup that can be used to restore in case of HD format. But seriously, all you need to do is find the .pst file (do a search for *.pst) and save it. After new install simply replace the new .pst file with the saved one.
