Overclocking and memory timings

When I'm overclocking, my system gets unstable at about 145Mhz.

Is this likely to be the memory timings, which I've left 'Set by SPD'. Will SPD adjust the memory timings as the FSB is raised (I know it changes some between 100Mhz and 133Mhz (maybe not this chip, but ive seen it. CAS2@100Mhz, CAS3@133Mhz).

Is memory timing likely to be the limiting factor?

I'm not happy at the moment, cause I just swapped a 1Ghz AVIA (B) for a 1.2Ghz AXIA (C) (for free), and I cant even get the new chip up to the 1.33Ghz I could get the first chip to (I havent unlocked it, and am unlikely to).

As for other parts that may be limiting the FSB, heres the specs:

GeForce256
SMC 10/100 NIC (Accton 1207D)

SPD simply reads the EEPROM configuration data on the DIMM module, and makes no adjustments, or takes into account the FSB that you are running.

All of the AXIA 1.2GHz Athlon Cs I have seen in Melbourne are factory unlocked (although you may need to carefully lift the warranty sticker to see the L1 bridges).
