Overclocking Athlon X2 4200+

Hi,

According to the Epox 9NPA+ motherboard stats, it's stock/minimum CPU voltage is 1.5v. Since the Athlon X2 4200+ can be overclocked at 240x11 by using a CPU voltage of 1.45v, does this really mean that the stcok CPU voltage on the Epox will be sufficient to get 240MHz on the bus?

If anybody has this type of configuration (9NPA+/4200+ at 240x11), which memory are you using? The motherboard can be set to a maximum of 3.1v for the memory, so the best would be some memory modules that can do DDR480 with 3.1v or less.

My stock voltage was 1.38 for the 4200+. On a DFI LP.
I can get to around 2550 using 1.45, but after that I hit a brick wall with a steep ladder.

The stock voltage for an X2 is 1.38v. If you have the proper bios for an X2, the stock voltage the motherboard should feed it is 1.38v, rather than 1.5v.
