Overclocking Athlon64 3000+ vs 3200+

This has probably been discussed a few times before, but I basically want to know if if people think the 3000+ or 3200+ is better for overclocking. How much better is the 1MB Cache on the 3200+ once you start clocking it up.
Also this is going to be my first system build in about 3 years so i am a little rusty on the latest cooling. What is the best heatsink fan combo at the moment for socket 754 etc.

This will be going on a MSI K8N Neo Plat. by the way

IMO I would run h2o cooling on a 64bit CPU, taking into account the fact it may run hotter when XP 64 is released you will not want to spend more $ on another HSF.

Go for the 3200+. You can always OC it more, but you can not add more cache later on.

that is very true....

but the extra 512 kb's of L2 cache doesn't make a HUGE difference in performance...

i just got myself a 3200+ newcastle and will overclock it later this week and post results for you...
