I have a overclocking situation. I had the abit bx6 rev. 2 mobo that I took a PIII 750 to 1.0 gig. Used active cooling on north bridge to get it to run at 133 fsb stable. no problems under win2000. I had a restarting problem that started to develop, overclocked or not. Narrowed it down to the mobo {sniff sniff}. I has the asus p3v4x mobo laying around, so I slammed that into my case. Now I can't get to chip to overclock to 1.0 gig anymore. the highest fsb it will boot to is 124 mhz. what kind of monkey voodoo is this. raised the voltage, changed to cas settings for the ram, it just won't come on beyond 124 fsb. This board supports 133 officially, while my bx did not, DOH!!! makes no apparent sense to me. any suggestings or explainations would be greatly appreciated.
