Not much to it really. Just raise the multiplier until it becomes unstable, raise the voltage to improve stability, rinse and repeat. All while keeping an eye on temperatures (everyone has different standards - I would say about 90C max in AVX tests, no more than 75C in games).
If you're lucky and your CPU isn't below average, 4.3 - 4.4 GHz should be possible at around 1.2V or less with acceptable temperatures. At voltages above 1.2V, you may have to increase VRIN/VRM Override or whatever it's called on your mobo from the default 1.8V to 1.9 or even 2.0V.
The last step would be to raise the Uncore/Cache multiplier as high as it will go with a voltage of 1.1 - 1.15V to squeeze the last few % of performance from your overclock.
