Overclocking issue with the 2500+

I have the Mobile 2500+ teamed up with the Abit AN7. I can't get the system to boot up if I set the FSB to 200. Right now some BIOS settings im useing that might help you to diagnos this problem are:

CPU FSB: 166
CPU MULTIPLIER: 11
DIVIDER: 6/6
RAM TIMINGS: TURBO
CPU VOLTAGE: 1.6

I think thats all I need to mention. Correct me if im wrong. I tried upping the voltage to 1.75, but that didn't work. My cooling if pretty good. That shouldn't be an issue.

My CPU temp with the settings above is 36C idle.

Any ideas?

What speed memory are you using? Perhaps your memory is stable at 166 but not at 200.

what kinda ram you got, and maybe you can see what your max cpu speed will be by raising the multiplier as high as you can.

Why don't you try moving up in 5 mhz steps? A lot of systems don't take well to being pulled straight up to 200. Anyway you might give it a try.

Maybe also set your timings to expert and 2.5 3 3 11 which is kind of standard relaxed timings for overclocking and then tighten them up later.
