Alright this question has plagued me for a long time. Keeps me sitting on the john as I seem to do deep thinking there.. heh
My system:
p4 1.8a@2.25
Asus p4b266-c
512ddr pc2700
Anyways, when you overclock you move up the FSB (front side bus) for the cpu as well as the voltage. What does this put your board and ram at fsb wise? My board and ram run default at 266 and the board locks the pci and agp fsb speeds. So I am wondering how far it overclocks my ram and boards fsb when I overclock my cpu. Do they make the jump to match my cpu's new bus speed? Or do they stay the same?...
This questions is driving me nutts...
