Left: We want to get everyones basic needs met but cannot agree on which needs to do 1st so will splinter into our own niches and divide our power.
Right. We want to exterminate entire social groups but cannot agree on which order to exterminate them in, oh well, lets band together because as long as we have power they will all get done eventually right.
Centrists. You are both utterly nuts, will you on the left stop splitting your power so we can avoid the extermination of social groups and actually help people, also some of the the people on the right are voting out of fear so having policy positions that calms them will swing some voters towards the middle which increases our vote share and also decreases theirs. If we did not keep flip flopping between Dems and Rs we would be able to make solid progress but you keep letting the Rs in to undo so much work.
