P18O and Zalman Fan

Noob with first build. Been running for a week with it OC'ed but my GPU is running sort of warm compared to the rest of the system 50-55 with Doom3 and 40 on idle.

Question-how to I change a fan from intake to outake and how should my Zalman 9500 be positioned? I've seen descriptions but darn if I can understand what the descriptions mean. Right now the fan is on top facing the top of the case if that makes sense. Is there a website with a pic of the installation?

The plastic manifold that came with the P180 doesn't fit as it hits the Zalman. If I turn it should it fit? My cpu is running cool as ice and I hate to mess it that if it still won't fit. Sorry to be a dummy but I've looked everything else up and everything is running great except for the GPU. Thanks!!!

50-55 °C load is perfectly acceptable for a newer vid card. What type do you have?

I think you're probably doing fine on temps. There's a good review of the P180 at SPCR. IIRC they recommended not using the plastic tunnel. I think the Zalman either facing up or back is okay. Since heat rises and you have the exhaust fan facing the top, you've already got it right. And welcome to AT.

Thanks all. I'm using the PNY6600GT from the Newegg BF sale. It's not overclocked though.

Spent about 4 months reading up on the build on AT so had plenty of literature to work with.
