P4 - DDR or RIMM

I am going to be working on building a system for a user who wants to use a P4 @ 2.8 GHz. Since I generally work with AMD and am just now starting to look into the P4 solutions I had a question. Should I go with a 845/DDR setup or the 850/RIMM setup. The user doesn't care too much about cost so purchasing RIMMs would be OK. I would also be using an Intel motherboard as well.
My main questions are which solution would offer the best performance (possible video editting down the road) and be the most stable.

Intel boards are very stable.
Rambustard memory is slightly quicker, so that's
the way to go, unless price is an issue
