P4 (LGA775) Confusion

isnt p4 LGA 775 32bit CPU? When did it become a 64bit? Also why do people think is 64bit? is it 64bit?

the 6xx series is 64bit and has 2mb L2 cache, 5xx series is 32bit and has 1mb L2 cache.

Don't forget the 5xxJ series have 1mb cache and are 64 bit.

I believe that 5xxJ series are still 32bit with the anti-virus Xbit extensions/instructions and better power management features. I have a J series and am sure it is not 64bit, at least not enabled as susch.

Not all of the 5xxJ series are 64 bit, the J means it has the NX disable bit. There are some that do have 64bit, I think they end with a 1 or a 6, such as 531J as opposed to 530j which is not 64bit, but the 6xx series all have 2mb of cache and 64bit.
