Ah, but you wouldn't have Windows 95!Originally posted by: tcsenter
I'm betting the 3.0GHz P4 in this system is 512KB L2 cache version and the 20GB hard drive is a lesser 5400 RPM model. In the same ball park, you could have...
Boxed P4 3.0E 800FSB Prescott + ECS PT800CE-A Combo - $179.99 + shipping
POWMAX Beige Mid Tower ATX Case with 400W Power Supply - $34.50 Free Shipping
SAMSUNG 40GB 7200RPM Hard Drive - $45.00 Free Shipping
Rosewill 52x32x52 CD-RW + 16x DVD-ROM Combo Drive - $34.00 Shipped
PQI POWER Series 256MB PC3200 - $35.83 Shipped
400W PSU, CD-RW with DVD, 100% more hard drive capacity and RAM. Total = $329.32
Toss in an inexpensive AGP video card with 64MB DDR that would be far superior than integrated SIS video, such as ATI Radeon 7000/7200, GF MX440-8X, or MX4000, for another $35.

How about those Dell SC400 server dells back then or now the SC420 deals? It comes with PCI-E slot too. I wonder if this would be decent mini gaming rig with some more ram and decent PCI-E card.
