Hello!

I am having some misc troubles with P8P67...hopefully you will be able to help me resolve these:

1. In the EFI/BIOS, all my HDD ports are set to AHCI...Twice today 3 of my HDDs just got "ejected" from the OS....to have them back, either a reboot was needed or replugging the SATA cables...anyone with the same issue/way to resolve?
2. The EFI/BIOS isnt properly scaled i.e. I cannot view all the available screen?

System:
core i5 2500K
P8P67
8 GB Corsair value (2*4GB)
Corsair GS700

1. Which ports are the HDDs connected to?
2. Are you using HDMI to connect to your monitor? Try auto-adjusting through the monitor controls. A friend also had this problem with his LCD TV connected ala HDMI, auto-adjusting didn't work tho.

Is the motherboard you have a "revision" model? If not, you could be affected by the chipset issue when the new boards came out. The issue only affects the 3G ports, the 6G ports were unaffected. So you could try placing two of your HDDs in the 6G ports (light-grey ones), and one of your HDDs in the Marvell 6G port (the navy blue color).

As for the screen, since it's a CRT, you can try to adjust the width & height settings in the OSD when in BIOS. The settings for the lower resolution BIOS will be saved just for that resolution, whilst the dimension settings for your regular 1280x1024 settings will remain unchanged.

Alrighty then, you'e safe from the issue. You should go ahead & test them on the 6G ports though. How's the scaling/resolution issue? Is it adjustable?

Sorry I should've clarified, it's not in BIOS, it's the control panel you get in your monitor itself through its buttons. There you can digitally adjust brightness, contrast, width, height, perspective, etc.. Do this whilst in your BIOS, so the settings changes you make will pertain to that particular resolution only.

1) Set the "hot plug" option to enabled in UEFI n the ports that the HDDs are connected to.

2) Sounds like you are using an old monitor that does not sit well with UEFI output display. Not much we can do about this - might be time to invest in a newer display.
