I don't even remember the last time I had Papa John's at this point.

I think we switched to Dominoes in like 2014.. the wife likes their hawaiian but I add pepperoni and italian sausage to it, so we both like it. Sometimes they have a 50% off.. and the extravaganzzzaaa pizza is really nice!

However it doesn't quite taste like a real pizza shop.. so we still go with a local shop where a slice of sicilian is $3.50 each. Just had some yesterday.

That's about the time Dominos reformulated their sauce and improved their crust. They still aren't great but of the big three national brands I prefer them now when I wouldn't touch them before. Passable deep dish too.

I agree, after they changed ingredients and formula I found their pizza very bland. After it actually became decent. Not something I’d regularly do but it’s also not an embarrassment to serve.
