Since the other thread was more focused on the passing of Pope Francis, I thought there should be one on the new Pope. While the Conclave will soon take place to elect the next Pope, I found an interesting video that lists every Pope, from St. Peter to Pope Francis:

There are many interesting tidbits in the video including the 14th Pope, from Africa, Saint Victor I. According to this site there have been three African Popes:

I'm honestly unsure of what is offensive about a gay pope. If that's offensive, you might be a bigot. If you can't handle some raunchy language on the internet for shits and giggles, you are probably a snowflake.

The Catholic church has oppressed and abused so many millions of people every century they have existed its insane. They have literally covered up an insane amount of child sexual abuse! But a raunchy joke is the issue. Oh yeah?

Pope Francis was actually progressive, and guess what the American Catholics and other conservative Catholic priests and bishops want to do - IS TAKE US BACKWARDS FROM THAT. I'm just staying in a non-traditional way - let's move forward instead.

And the most ardent American catholics are the most horrific bigoted, evil, nasty beings we have around. And those defending Trump's evil actions want to say this is offensive language? Hey let's defend disappearing people, destroying people's lives by illegally taking over federal agencies, destroying democracy, BUT IF YOU MAKE A GAY POPE JOKE THAT IS A STEP TOO FAR FOR US!

These are the worst people in the world and I can't say I'm upset if they are offended. In fact, I hope they are seething and getting high blood pressure from my post. And if we cater to their hypocritical sensitivities, we are fucking losing.
