Paperclip trick - which PSU first?

Just experimenting with some stuff right now, and wondering about doing the paperclip trick to get a 2nd psu running.

If I run a primary PSU to all components except a singular GPU, and a secondary PSU to only a singluar GPU, which PSU do I start up first? both at the same time?

In my case, I have three GPUs, one of which needs to be run on a separate PSU. All are 7970s. Mobo is Asus Sabertooth FX990 R2.0.

You could get yourself one of these adapters and have them start up at the same time.

Yeah I have one on the way, something very similar. I ordered it two days ago and its taking longer to arrive than I'd like. I'm impatient that way.

I would get a 12 volt relay that is powered by the first psu, so they should turn on pretty much at the same time and at the push of a single button.

Or just go old school and tie the sense and ground (paperclip trick) wires to each other (as in green to green, black to black) and both power supplies will start at the same time, no relay needed, and both are controlled by the case's push button for both start up and shut down.
