Computer freezes on Win 98 boot
The computer was asleep, when I hit return, I accidentally opened up a game 2x, the computer froze, then upon reboot, it would get to the desktop then promptly freeze.
I ran scandisk, which detected no problems, and subsequent attempts have yeilded no help.
I have a celeron 400 OC'ed to 458 on an Abit BH6 mobo, TNT AGP, Voodoo2 PCI, 128 mb PC100, CB Live value, fastgear ethernet 10gb maxtor HD.
I am assuming that it is something in the startup files that load, but I have no idea what or how to go about diagnosing it. I have also tried stating from safe, and it works, so I would appreciate all help to steer me in the right direction.
Thanks
CC
