I saw him in the pit lane at Long Beach about 10 years ago. He was a regular there for many years in the Newman/Haas pit area especially when Michael Andretti was racing for him. I have some photos of him around here somewhere.
At 70, he became the oldest driver to be part of a triumphant team in a major sanctioned race, the 24 Hours of Daytona, in 1995.
