I saw him in the pit lane at Long Beach about 10 years ago. He was a regular there for many years in the Newman/Haas pit area especially when Michael Andretti was racing for him. I have some photos of him around here somewhere.

He started racing himself in his 40's.

At 70, he became the oldest driver to be part of a triumphant team in a major sanctioned race, the 24 Hours of Daytona, in 1995.

Paul has some fantastic marinara and pasta sauces that are vegetarian/vegan friendly, and of course in true Paul fashion donate the sale proceeds to charities.

anyone that is clueless on Paul Newman should google him. Dude was a great guy. I truly respect him always saying it's just luck that got him where he is. In reality that's the truth...there are tons of talented people everyday that simply don't make it because they pulled out a later number in line.

I have been using Publix's Garden Vegetable sauce lately, but his sockarooni sauce I always liked.
