alright so i sold an intagible item through ioffer, than after I gave seller the items he filed a claim against me saying that he never recieved the items.

Since the only options im given to resolve the situation is to 1) give Full Refund 2) Provide Tracking Info 3) Prove previous Refund.

I cant do anyting in this situation. I did email them about the situation but I can't wait for their answers. What can I do in this situation? the only way I came up with avoiding a chargeback is shipping him a letter with the account info (what I sold), and track it. This way I can provide paypal with tracking number, and maybe have a chance to avoid chargeback.

But i think he planned this before hand because in the Paypal transaction details, he didn't provid me with his address, but I have his address from ioffer. What can i do? If i provide paypal with tracking info will the claim be cancelled or does paypal give the buyer another chance to respond? also I can't think of any shipping companies that provide the destination address online on the tracking site. Fedex or UPS only show the state and city. Please help me guys

Advanced Search "paypal" in Off-Topic for other threads on this.

I'm guessing this is a MMORPG sale that violates the terms of service for the game, in which case you're probably out of luck.

Intangible? Email him the account info and cc paypal. Is somebody else using the account now? Can't see why this would be difficult.

i guess its time for me to get nasty too.
i will send out a little envelope with tracking, and hope for the best. they can only file a claim once per transaction. if this doesn't work im going to close out my debit accout and take all the money out so paypal can't touch my money. ahahah

you're f'ed bro, but don't worry, karma will come back on him just like it came back on you this time. we all create everything we experience. i'm sure at sometime in the past you got over on someone and god decided now was the appropriate time to deal out your whippin.

life is a big slut of a Bltch. plain and simple. nothing goes unnoticed. search the recesses of your mind and you will know that this is comeupins for some crap you did in the past. and if you deny what i am saying, you are a fool.

Paypal exclude intangible items from seller protection.

However, if you simply state that the item was intangible (just put intangible for the tracking number) and ideally, provide some other proof that the goods were received (e.g. if it's an online account, send a 2nd copy of the password email and copy it to paypal) then you may be able to make a sensible claim.

At least he hasn't filed a CC chargeback - in general CC chargebacks tend to get passed on to the seller in the case of intangible items. (And as there is no seller protection, paypal will do the bare minimum to help you).

Unfortunately, it's in the T&C that you sign up to that, if the buyer gets a chargeback from their CC, it will come out of your account. If you've got no funds in your paypal account, they'll either take it from your bank account, or will pass it on to debt collectors.

I was under the impression that they could not just go into your checking acct. Maybe I am wrong. I know they can freeze the $$ in your PP acct for any reason.

Contact whoever you paid montly fees to. They should be able to verify who was the original account holder, including the billing info. Ask them to put it in writing and send that info to PayPal.

Also, tell them that your account has been compromised and ask them to freeze it. That should get scammers attention.

I've got screwed by paypal many times(as a seller and buyer)

All you need to do is the following.

If they have no frozen your account(yet) transfer all money to your bank account and then remove all bank details from your account. Then sit back and wait for PayPal to screw around. Make sure you document everything and keep all emails and contacts with paypal and the buyer.

Should PayPal send you to collections send them a "Drop Dead" letter with all information regarding this sale(collections won't happen for like 6 - 10 months)

PayPal sent me a collection letter once. I told them to stick it up their tail pipe(Plus they were unable to provide the required information regarding the chargeback.)

Never received another letter from them.

Do you really want USPS on your ass for filing a fraudulent claim? Not a good idea.
