Also, if this was a game account I would called the billing department for that game and tell them that this account was stolen. THey should lock it

paypal has been a great company in my experience. it's been an unbelievable asset to me in my ebay pursuits. i am thankful for their existence. if you are having problems in your lives then maybe you need to examine your personal pursuits and agendas. there might be lessons that are necessary for you to learn.

Quick easy fix mail an empty box with a tracking number and your set.. you have proof "it" was mailed. As long as you prove it your in the clear no matter what he says to paypal.

Sorry, but you're wrong. Paypal cannot access your bank account without your express permission on each and every access. If you think differently, please link to the specific statement that Paypal has in their TOS that does allow them to, without permission or authorization, access and withdraw from your bank account. You cannot find it because it doesn't exist.

Something like this happened to me once.

I sold tickets on Ebay, met in person to exchange tickets (so there was no tracking available) and then I had a claim filed against me saying that the person had used a stolen credit card. It turns out the card was her mother's and she didn't ask permission.

I tried to fight it, but ultimately they took the money out of my banking account and stuck me with a gay $10 penalty fee. I called the girl and fought with her time and time again until she agreed it was her fault and would send me a money order to pay for the costs (she never paid me back the penalty fee). I cashed the check and 100000 months later when paypal closed the investigation, somehow I won the case and my money also got refunded back to me! So now she's paid me twice. I kept the money She hasn't come looking for it and if she does, I'll refund it back to her minus the penalty fee.

Good luck though. You're gonna be fighting this for a looooooooooong time. Paypal is freaking slow with these cases. Hopefully a lot of money wasn't involved.

Before your account is locked remove your bank and credit card accounts from file.
They won't have anything to charge.

1) Mail the account info with tracking.
2) Don't use Paypal.

Was this a CC charge back? If it wasnt this is total BS. PayPal told me I can't get my $21 back from a fraudnalt seller because he had no funds in his account. I issued a disupte with my bank(this was a AFT tranfer) they issues a total refund to me but I had my account locked by paypal for a negitive balance.

If you already withdrew the money into your bank account, just forget about the whole thing. Paypal will put your account into negative balance, they will lock it, and they will lock any new accounts you open.

If you didn't withdraw the money already, you might be screwed.
