What types of motherboards are compatible with these types of memory?
Because usually when i look at a motherboards compatibility to the ram, it say 3200,2700,

any mobo that supports ddr will support pc-4000. you will have to oc the system to get it up to pc-4000 speeds though. otherwise it will just run at pc-3200 (or less depending on the board). to put it simply, it is made for overclockers. i'm running a gig of g.skill pc-4400 on my dfi nf4 ultra-d.

So far motherboards are only rated for JEDEC compliant speeds, of which DDR400/PC3200 is the fastest.

Perhaps they'll make a DDR500 one as its very easy for memory companies to get chips that run that speed.

Your memory will work in pretty much any board that supports DDR400, and it will run it at DDR400 speeds until you overclock the system.
