PC Reboots and Repeats

Been running a Intel 2500K in a Gigabyte z68p-ds3 did a bios update the other day and everything was fine. I keep my pc on all the time but when I came home last night it was in a forever pc boot. Start up for a few seconds the fans turn on, no beep at all and shut off and repeat this forever until I disconnect the power.

What I have done so far.
Took everything out bread boxed the mother board for only the CPU and Heatsink and mother board. Same thing.

Took the heatsink off and redid thearmal paste.. Same thing.

Tested the PSU with another older mother board bare and PSU stays on.
Tested the PSU with shorting the Green wire and black PSU stays on.

Reset the bios with the fault switch and pulling the battery out for a few minutes... up to 10 mins +

tried it with the video card ram and stuff.. Still same thing.

Tried it with only 1 ram... Every slot tried... Same thing.

Tried it without ram.. Same thing...

At this point I totally out of ideas is it the PSU under load the mother board, or the Processor? Im thinking more likely the mother board is dead now because it doesn't even go on for 1 second before it restarts.. Nor does it post, or beep.. Only thing that happens is the fans go on then turn back off.

I don't want to buy all the parts again, so If I can figure out what it is and replace it that would be nice.

I have another PSU but its a 20 pin power supply PSU and the mother board is the 24 pin power supply.

Just for giggles I still tried it and it does the same thing.. But I have no idea if the extra 4 pins are needed for startup the Mother board or not.

Just read about that and it's very similar yes. *But most people can start there computers after a CMOS *wipe.

Done that and nothing. *The computer just doesn't do anything fans come on for a second you hear the click of psu and think motherboard. *Then everything shuts off and it starts over.

Can't imagine my 2500k is bad I only had it at 4ghz and that's nothing. *And the temps last night didn't even hit 30c*

Only thing I can think off is the bios update I did. *I went from f1 to f9 latest bios. *And that worked for a whole day even a few reboots.

Been reading on this some more. Noticed they keep mentioning dual bios. Not sure if this board has that quickly looked at the box didn't notice it, then the specs do mention it.

Anyway I read that if you don't copy the new bios to the backup bios it can cause problems. Never new I had to do this. I used the windows bios update the gigabyte suggested on there main page. No idea if it does this or not.

You would think that if I was having a bios issue then the backup would take over. Gag!

Pretty sure this mb is completely toast.
Ordered an asrock and hopefully be back up next week.

See if I can get the gigabyte warenteed since its less then 6 months old.
