I'm planning to add another 256mbs to my T30, but I've got a decision; I can buy 256mb of PC2700 that normally goes into the T41 for about the same price as the PC2100 that goes into the T30. My question: will the T41 memory still work if I use it on the T30?
I know that (if it works) it'll run at PC2100 speeds, but since the prices are the same and I'll probably eventually upgrade to a T4x series, I might as well get the faster RAM and enjoy the extra little speed bump in teh future.
Also, does anyone know if the Intel 2200BG Mini-PCI card is compatible with the T30? I've already got the Intel 802.11b mini-pci card, so the antennas are there. The IBM site says nothing about whether or not it's compatible with the T30, and neither have their phone services, so I'll see if anyone here has an answer.
Edit: linked to 2200BG card
