PCI-express to PCI

Is it possible to use a PCI-express video card in a PCI slot? I understand that if possible, the functionality of the "express" would be limited. I've just been out of the video scene for so long I'm out of the loop now...

pci-e is not backwards compatible w/ pci, but pci-x is.

pci-e uses a different bus than pci/agp. not compatible.
