Can I do that? Have an HP Vectra vli8, P3 450, 96 megs ram, Win98se.
No way to disable or upgrade onboard AGP. Need answer please. A
PCI vid card Recommendation also appreciated. ($100 or less for games)
HP.com may have the answer for you in their databases. On HP's there is a jumper for this. I used to do tech support for them. You may want to give them a call if the info is not available on the site.
The GeForce4 MX 420 is the best you can do PCI Vid Card wise.
Hey, thanks man. I think your right about the Geforce 4 mx. I've been to HPs' site. I'll have to go back and see if I can find a jumper cause I know there is no bios setting to do it.
But even if there is no jumper can I not install a PCI vid card anyway and and somewhere designate it as the primary, and/or disable the AGP in "hardware profiles"??
