22/522 is the section between Mt. Union and Lewistown (where I live BTW). 22/322 join at the eastern side of Lewistown and run that way till Harrisburg.

I work all over the state: Lewistown, Huntingdon, Shippensburg, Frackville, Pottsville, Bedford, Roaring Spring, Chambersburg, Clearfield, etc.

yay for SW pa...

lived in shoaf, blairsville, state college & new kensington(penn state, duh) greensburg, and oh yeah, I now live and work in uniontown.

My fond memory of Uniontown is getting into an accident at 522/22 intersection. Car making a left turn clipped the back of my car. Punted me over a porkchop island and landed in the nearby gas station. Car that clipped me pulled up, old lady got out of driver's rear door, pulled out a walker so the driver could support herself. 90 year old man in the passenger seat must have had alzheimers, because he was laughing hesterically and continued non-stop. She didn't have drivers license or insurance so we went to her nearby home. At 10am in the morning her 40 year-old son dressed in cut up bluejeans with nothing else on, sporting a Bud bottle, smashed off his a$$, anounced "who the fvck are these people mah!" After 20 minutes of arguing, he wouldn't let her give me any ID. So off to the police station we went, to clear it up. Was on my way from PSU to New Orleans Jazz Festival, what a way to start a vacation. I was waiting for Ned Beatty to jump out of the woods squealing like a pig.

Edit: no saying anything derogitory about Uniontown. I'm sure its nice rural living, but that experience was odd.

The more I read this, that had to be in Mt. Union. Sounds about par for that neck of the woods.

I grew up in Bensalem! Moved to Toronto, Ontario a few years ago though. Spent the first 10 years of my life in the Parkwood section of NE Philly, then moved to Bensalem for the next 15ish year. Wen to PSU Ogontz in Abington and have worked everywhere from Southampton to Princeton.

I may live in Canada now, but PA is and always will be my home. I never realised how much i liked being there until i moved I guess that's always the way it is.

How did you end up in Canada?

Married one of those handsome Canadians I had heard so much about.

I just moved from the Dallas/Fort Worth area up to State College PA - professionally, not as a student! There are some ups and downs, but for the most part I am pretty underwhelmed with Pennsylvania. The scenery is nice - I like the hills and mountain thing, the foliage and all of that jazz, but the food blows, the highway/road system is half-assed, the taxes are incredible, the alcohol laws bizarre as hell and it's about as diverse as a bowl of rice.

Living in a town where a very large and significant portion of the population are svelte and tender college girls: Priceless.

Born and raised in Erie, but I had to move down here to North Carolina to find a decent tech job. I really miss the great lakes.

When I first came to PA, I started out in Erie for about 6 months. Right in the middle of the city, and it was winter too. It was possibly one of the worst times of my life...

I was born, raised, and still live in DuBois, PA.
Along the way I lived in Massachusetts for awhile, it sucked. It's even a lousy place to visit.

When I was early out of highschool, I worked all over PA, OH, a little of NY, WV, DE, and Maryland.
Aside from the hard coal region of Frackville, Pottsville, Shenendoah, Mahonoy, etc..., there's no other place I'd rather be than right here at home.
The people in the northern part of southeast PA were some of the nicest, decent, finest people I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
Good people around Pittsburgh, too.
Maryland sucks my balls, bad. The whole state should be backfilled.
