That's where I grew up - love the area. I'm still shocked by how green everything is when I come in from Colorado in the summer - it's like a frikken rain forest

I've heard of it. Isn't there an exit for it while driving by Allentown?

I think there is a sign for it on Rt 309. Maybe one at the 309/100 intersection as well.

Maybe that is where I saw it... I was coming back from a meeting in Philadelphia and decided to take the 309 instead of the Turnpike.
So what is the history of germansville - somebody with the last name of German, or did Germans actually found it?

Sad, but I don't actually know. It's just a tiny place - postoffice, feed store, and a bar - I lived about 5 miles out from the actual town. It's actually not pronounced German as in Germany. The G is pronounced as in gutter or guide.

Why would you want to live in Pittsburg? The Harrisburg metro tied for 1st place in least stressful in the nation. Unemployment is extremely low. Centralized location means that its easy to go lots of places (with little traffic). Real estate is very reasonable.
