My Grandsons have PC's with motherboards that will only reach 400mhz fsb. Is it possible use a 533fsb processor in them and run at 400fsb? The 533fsb versions are easier to find now.

No, because the 533 MHz fsb processors run at 133 times x number of times multiplied, the 400 MHz ones run at 100 MHz.

Yes, but they will only run 1800MHz.
