My computer is in my Sig so i was wondering whats a good PSU that will

1. have enough power now for my system
2. maybe havea little extra just incase
3. will last for a while and will possibly still be ok for my next upgrade.

Im thinkin maybe a corsair 750TS?

The one im using now is ok, but im not sure how much headroom i have left and the modular cables make me want to shoot myself. Theres not enough and they are think and dont bend or flex at all.

hehe oh no they are THINK!!! x-connect sounds like ultra.. i only let 100$ pc's be powered by ultra psu's higher ends get seasonic or corsair or zalman.. also a really solid cheap one is the antec blue 650w modular.. it was like 80$ shipped a week ago (cheapest higher end psu ive ever seen and it gets great reviews)

hahaha i meant to say thick.... thats what i get for posting at 3am. Yes it is an ultra, i bought it a while ago because i was gonna build a pc that was entirely clear but then i decided its kinda dumb.

i was considering a corsair 550 or 650 a while ago when it was like 60 bucks on buy.com but for some reason i passed up on it. im looking for a PSU deal similar to that.

How are the cables on the antec modular? Ive obviously had a bad experience with my first modular lol

Is this the one you were talking about? http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817371010
and where is it 80 dollars?

Corsair 550vx (1x6 pin and 1x6+2pin PCI-e power connectors). Has 41A on the 12v rail.
$85 - $20 MIR = $65!!!

Corsair 650tx (2x6+2 pin (2x8pin or 1x6pin or 1 8pin or whatever combo) PCI-e power connectors). Has 52A on the 12v rail!!
$85 - $20 MIR = $65!!! Better deal than the 550vx right now!!!
http://www.buy.com/prod/corsai...loc/101/205852646.html
Corsair 750tx (4x6+2 pin (4x8 pin or 4x6pin or whatever combo you need) PCI-e power connectors) Can handle just about any SLI/X-fire setup out there! 60A on the 12v rail!!
$104 - $20 MIR = $84!!! Has everything you should need for the next 3-5 years!!

I'd personally get the 750 tx if you can afford it. Otherwise the 650tx is a steal right now at $65 after $20 MIR!!

I went with the 750tx and have no regrets. There were plenty of connections, and I know that it will last me quite a while. The cables are quite stiff; however, if you work with them a bit (be patient) you will be rewarded. They are nice and long, so I was able to rout everything completely around the back of my p182 with zero problems.

Do any of those have 10 molex connectors or more? And are single-rail?

I'm not sure what you mean by molex connector, but here's an overview of the connectors for each PSU.
750tx:
1 x Main connector (20+4Pin)
1 x 12V(4/8Pin)
8 x peripheral
8 x SATA
2 x Floppy
4 x PCI-E (4x6+2pin)

650tx:
1 x Main connector (20+4Pin)
1 x 12V(4/8Pin)
8 x peripheral
8 x SATA
2 x Floppy
2 x PCI-E (2x6+2pin)

550vx:
1 x Main connector (20+4Pin)
1 x 12V(4+4Pin)
6 x peripheral
6 x SATA
2 x Floppy
2 x PCI-E (1x6pin & 1x6+2pin)

Here is Newegg's link of the PSU's in a comparison format:

Try the Gigabyte Odin Pro 550 if you haven't got a PSU already. It's basically a 550VX with modular cables and the combined 41A on the +12V rail has been split across three +12V rails.
