Ok so its not a firewall problem and not an overheating problem....

Do you have all the latest drivers?
If no, download and test the game

If yes, try this:

Run
1)Adware
2)Spybot
3)CCleaner
4)Run AVG scan
5)Defrag

Then try it...

If not, try googling for people with the same problem, like here, try their solutions, maybe it will help.

Make sure you have the extra PCIe power connector plugged into your 6800GT. If it's not connnected, the card won't get enough power, and it will be slower. Your computer should be blowing this game away. No way you should be getting 9fps...

I turned EVERYTHING down to as low as possible at 1024*768 32bits. It's getting 18 frames persecond in battles. Nearly doubled the frame rate but still slow. I didplug in the power.

How much stuff do you have running in the background? I managed to save almost 100 megs of memory when I was trying to optimize my system for bf2. Just go to the processes tab in ctrl+alt+del and sort them by username, delete all the unnecessary ones. Try running the game then, it should help. If you still experiece problems try and reinstall the game.

could be a driver issue. what driver are you using? you should use 77.77 but make sure you use driver cleaner to clean the old drivers first.

After I used driver cleaner the nvidia pannel is gone and the webpage scrolls down very slowly like when there was no driver.What happend?

Driver cleaner did it's job, it eliminated all of the driver files, right ? D/L the latest files for your vid card and install them, then try your game again. The Demo info can be found on-line, it is in essence a portion of the game. I will play with it when I have time later on today.

Yes, download the latest 77.77 drivers from the nVidia website. Then see how it goes.

It's still slow. There's a guy with redeon x800xt and it slows down during big firefights. Mabe it's just slow.
