Capt Caveman: I dont know how I could deal with the loss of a pet..
having Timber put to sleep while I was petting her and then watching Lucky have a stroke and die will haunt me for a long time
I can't stand people who have a dog and come home from a long day, pat him on the head once or twice and then go turn on the tv.
heh. seems to be the same commandments for cats:

My girls pup
It's been a tough year. Having two companions that you lived with for ten years, life is different now.
I made threads for when each passed away:
Timber - My Dog is Dying
Lucky - My Dog Lucky Passed Away
From the OP's Ten Commandments, Number 10 - having Timber put to sleep while I was petting her and then watching Lucky have a stroke and die will haunt me for a long time though I'm glad they weren't alone when they crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
