To be honest, I expect the Eagles to win this game.....after all, the Eagles have been in this position three times before in recent history so practice makes perfect, as they say.

Also, the Falcons are a team no ne expected to blossom like this. I've been a Falcons fan since their inception in '66 and am pleased they progressed to this point ths fast this year......a year that had a first-year head coach take over a cellar-dweller team, institute a brand new offensive scheme, a brand new defensive scheme and has seen a team exceed all expectations.

No matter the outcome of today's game, next year should be an awesome year for the Falcons.....and hopefully, the Falcons won't have to go to the NFC Championship game four times before they win it....again.

But this game just shows what was known beforehand.......the Eagles can pass on the Falcons and the Falcons can run on the Eagles.

He did tap his right toe. You could see his right toe make a divet<sp?> on the angle from the other side of the endzone and you could see his toe touch on the angle that's coming down the sideline.

Close but he did get it down.

falcons were in the playoffs year before last and lost to the eagles in the 2nd round. last year, without vick the falcons struggled but they clearly would have had a shot at winning the division last season if vick had not been injured.

they were in the superbowl 5 or 6 seasons ago.

so the image of the falcons as being cellar dwellers is far from accurate.
