Vick's untouchable. Brother's gonna run for 300 yards. Hotlanta wins by 14.

The Falcons defensive line is WAY better than the Vikings. McNabb is going to be flushed and hurried so much more than he was against the Vikes...

Rushing Stats:
M. Vick 4att 26yds
T. Duckett 7att 14yds
W. Dunn 15att 59yds
For a grand total of... 99 yards, yes that's right --
99 yards.
So... you were saying guys?
Hindsight is 20/20, I'm sure Eagles fans said similar things last year in the Carolina game but later didn't come to fruition. A lot of posts in this thread say Vick isn't a real qb but rather a runningback.
What makes a "real" QB to you?
Are you applying the spoon fed definition of the stereotypical 3,000 yard 20+ TD season passer? If so, why?
Is it because you've been so conditioned to apply that version, that whenever you judge a QB, you're simply incapable of thinking outside the box?
Use your brain, and think for yourself for a second.
Isn't the true barometer of a "real" QB how much of a threat he is at his position, regardless if the threat is conventional or not, thus giving his team a better chance at winning?
If you allow yourself to think beyond what you've been programmed to think a real" QB should be, I think Vick equally qualifies as a "real" QB.
Now if you're only capable of the traditional and acceptable version of a "real" QB that you've been taught, well then I guess to you, Vick is and always will be, only a novelty QB.
Buddy Ryan exhibited this same short sighted narrow minded thinking in his assesment of Cris Carter.
Something like, "I don't want him, all he does is catch touchdowns."
