I'm looking for something that will allow me to burn a cd with an auto starting slide show. I'd like the created slide show discs to be as simple to use as possible so that my less technically inclined family members can use them. Any suggestions?

You can use Nero to help you do that. Create a vcd or svcd and you can play it out on your set top dvd box (assuming it supports vcd/svcd formats). They can browse thru it with the remote.

I am using a program call Ulead DVD PictureShow, which creates a VCD photo slideshow... it allows u to create up to 99 albums w/ 99 photos each... For each album you can also put in your own background music using mp3's...

All you need to do is pop the VCD into your DVD player (capable of playing VCDs), and a menu will appear letting u to choose which album to view... once u choose, the slideshow begins and go through each photo every x seconds (this is configurable when u create the CD)...

The program is very easy to use... and the VCD is a no brainer to view... all u need to do is pop it in the player...
