He wasn't even hit hard.
It wasn't a flagrant.

Die in a fire. I can't stand the notion that when you become a professional player you officially give up your right to defend yourself, especially in a sport like this where the fans are so close to the action.

I agree. The players could have shown more restraint but this is the fans fault. They were disgusting. All the sterotypes about Detroit = true. When you get hit with something, you are going to react.

he wasn't defending himself, he was going in to the stands because he's a freaking psychopath. I'm betting the black lady right behind the scorers table in the pistons jersey with her hand in the air was the one who nailed artest. The kid with the glasses was talking crap, but he didn't throw it because he wasn't old enough to buy a beer. The guy in the hat was trying to keep artest from killing his kid.

I may be wrong, but if i'm right, Artest is going to be sued for a whole lot of money.

players can't go into the stands. if they do, a riot ensues. fans can't go onto the floor. if they do, they deserve to get clocked if security doesn't get to them first.
