Home made by my hand, however I feel like making it at the time.
We haven't done the home made dough part (We buy premade dough) but we really like being able to put whatever we want on it.

I like NY style pizza. Though I have yet to find really good NY style pizza in NYC and I live here. I haven't made the effort to go to the 2 old/famous places in NYC yet. I've had good 'NY style pizzas' in a couple of places in Boston (one of them is Italian owned/run).
I had really nice Chicago style pizza years ago when I visited Chicago.
If you can't find good pizza in NYC, you aren't looking. Alot of shops really are mediocre, but there are a ton of good pizza joints in the city.
There was a place down the street from where my wife used to live in Brooklyn Heights that was fantastic. I was a daily customer when I'd visit.
NY style all they way.
If I need to eat it with a fork and knife then it's not pizza IMO.
Vito's on La Cienega and Tomato Pie on Melrose [and another location on Hyperion], best NY style pizza in LA IMHO
and unless the oven is a nuclear furnace, to get an even cook and not burn it is going to take longer than 3 minutes as well
Detroit Square style pizza, somewhat thick crust, lots of sauce, pepperoni, fresh made chorizo and fresh mushrooms.
Simply the best.
