Board seems to overvolt, says it is at 1.65 when set at 1.625

This is where I am at and gonna stay and do some stressing: 165 fsb and 1.65 vcore.
I think I am close to my limit, but will do some more tweaking later.

In the middle of the format now. It takes forever to format these drives. I have 160gb (2x80 gb WD SE's in Raid 0) Everything else went smooth. Thick PCB, pretty lights on the DPS. Nice colors on this board. Will post more as I go. Typing on my Pentium 133 Notebook. Now that is wierd!

PJ
Update - 95% almost there!!!

OS done. Can't remember but seems like with XP SP1 you don't need the USB patch, is that correct?

That was the case with the P4PE. If you have the downloaded latest USB patch, take a look at the text files. For the P4PE patch it was very explicit in a text file NOT to install the USB drivers on a system with XP SP1.

Where you guys get the Aopen? With a price of $185 including shipping is not bad. Heard the Aopen is pretty good too.

I did not download any, they are on the CD that came with the board. There is nothing in the readme about it. For now, I will not install.

If you have installed SP1 you should be able to find USB 2.0 drivers by going to device manager and highlighting controller and doing the find driver dance, the drivers came with SP1.

I only overclocked to 150fsb and my sandra memory scores were upper 3800/3800's. I will be benchmarking more tomorrow.

Phocas:

Could you please answer pomonkey's question on HT? My board is expected tomorrow from MyAopen.com

I remember seeing in one of the reviews where the BIOS had the HT option. I will jump in tomorrow after I get my board fired up.

PJ: Looking good, turn up the FSB.

Quick question guys:

I have a EPOX 4GEA+ and WIN2K. Installed from scratch with the latest chipset driver 4.10.1012 (supports E-7205 according to the release notes). Can I use this drive on a GB machine instead of going through a fresh install?

Hmmm.

The Gigabyte probe is not working on this board. I get an error when I try to open it, so I am not able to see my temps when in windows. Does anyone know if there is an updated version somewhere? I looked on the Gigabyte site, but it was a no go. Gonna reboot at 150 and give her a whirl!

Motherboard monitor does not mention if it supports this board, so.... I am not sure if it is safe to try. I would really like to see the temps as I go here.

Here's one I have never seen before. I run a dual monitor setup. When I boot up, my initial display (On the analog side of video card) will show the boot process and then go blank. Light stays green on the monitor, but screen is blank. Windows will boot and then the primary monitor will startup fine. I have a GF 4 Ti 4400 and have never seen this before. Do I need to up the AGP juice a little? What do you think.

Top performance did not work either. Will up the fsb some more just to see how high we can go with this thing.

160/320 3968/3969 (Still at default vcore !)

My p4pe would have had me at a vcore of at least 1.65 to do this!
