Seems they've had the patent out since sept.
Sony is trying to build a AIW Playstation
They keep saying that they are breaking moore's law, but it's only 4 ghz due out in 2005. I think that moore's law applies to processor speed, but they claim it will have 1000 times the computing strength though. I wonder who knows what to do with that. (i have some ideas, but actually utilizing it is another story)
Also, this cell computing is cool, but I forsee problems with distributed computing games. As soon as the hugest, most tasking game is realease everyone plays and it eats up all the extra processing power. (sort of how file-sharing can eat up bandwidth on a network)
What do ya think? To be or not to be?
