I don't know Eli, really if you are over 21 IMHO there is no reason to date anyone under 21 as it seriously limits your options....I can understand 28 and 33 as both can go out and party but having a few friends who were upper 20s and dating those who were not yet 21 I must say it seriously cramped their style, not to mention the guys were odd.

I undertand the legal ramaifications of underage sex but it is possible to have a relationship with no sex..

I briefly dated a girl who was 17 and I was 23.

She was really cute and fvcking brilliant (the latter being a bigger turn on for me).

I had to end it after a few weeks, the maturity difference was just too great. Couldn't have lived with myself if it had gotten too serious, if you know what I mean. Of course, now she is 20, and even hotter, and a part of me is kicking myself.

Sorry, didn't read the whole thread, but....

Dating a minor is probably just fine. It's having sex with the minor that's the issue... (of course, the two just sort of go together)

Someone who is 23 and someone who is 16 just don't have a whole hell of a lot in common, and any kind of meaningful relationship is difficult/impossible.
