A grasshopper walks into a bar.

The bartender says, "We have a drink named after you."

"Really? You have a drink called an Irving?"

It is indeed strange, and one may wonder, why I subscribed to this thread if I'm in fact trying to ignore it.

This is a question that I would really like to answer, but alas, I can not, because despite having subscribed to it, I am still ignoring this thread.

Sardines huh? That's funny, cuz I used to eat sardines for breakfast all the time when I was a child.

My favorite is the spicy baltic sardines. Not too fond of tomato sardines.

OMG I am about to apply for a job with the state! It pays double what I'm making now, and I'd get to work with a friend (who has also put in a good word for me). So nervous...eeek!

My grandmother yous'd to to tell us that 'sardines' were 'brain' food, so we went crazy on them as kids. Funny, I wouldn't tell my boy bs like that.

When I was in the Navy, we used sardines to get back at the midshipmen that were onboard. It was during a storm, and they were all in their racks of course. So we opened up a can, and we would walk rack to rack, putting the sardines over the rack fan. You could hear them throwing up in line--it was great.

Yeah, but I don't trust my memory, because two things happen as one gets older... One is that you forget stuff, and I can't remember the other.
