I have an old Socket 7 First-Gen Pentium motherboard that has given me fits since the first day I bought it used. I put off fixing it for a while but it is now time to cure the problem. My problem is that when I first got the board it worked great, no problems. I had it running for about thirty minutes and all of a sudden, it began beeping at me like the ram had come lose. I immediately shut it down and checked everything. I booted the thing back up and it said KEYBOARD ERROR OR NO KEYBOARD PRESENT. This error came as a surprise because the keyboard was hooked up at this time. I made sure it was hooked up again and again to no avail. A while back I was trying to diag the problem and some guys said that they thought that the keyboard bios had went bad. Is this the problem. Does this sound right? It makes since to me, but I am not sure. I figured if anyone knew how to fix it they would be in this forum. If anyone has heard of this before or knows a fix please post any thoughts or ideas or PM me. Thanks guys and girls for helping.
