i bought a gigabyte 7dxc, socket a ddr ram motherboard. i've never messed with ddr ram. i bought a 128meg stick of pc2100 266mhz ram from compgeeks, now i'm having problems with the board- it sporadically powers up, most of the time it won't. i'm in the process of getting an rma for the board right now, thinking that's what it is, i have switched out all other components, but don't have another stick of ddr ram, not a lot of experience with it. just went to crucial.com, and their online configurator figured up pc1600 for that mobo. did i screw up? will the board not accept pc2100?
