my friend just went back from sem break... n 4 sum reason his desktop won't boot....
i've tested his system(s) RAM,PSU,VGA on my system n it works okay....i haven't tested his mobo n proc cuz...i don't have an intel proc laying around... and the motherboard type is kinda dodgy...on the board it says FOXCONN P4m800/ 478 rev 3.0 i looked it up on foxconn's support site n can't find the exact type....does anybody know the mobo's type designated name, processor it support, etc.
i've also tried bare booting to no avail so that should eliminate storage from my checklist...cleared BIOS same thing..just fans n power LED no beeps, nuthin...
please help is it dead Cpu or mobo ?? he haven't used it for like 4 months or so...just got back n got treated with the sound of fan hums n BSOD....
any help would be appreciated
